If you are interested in photographing the American Bald Eagle and wintering shorebirds in one trip you may want to join wildlife photographer and master naturalist Eric Horan for a visit to a barrier island where we'll find and photograph large groups of a wide variety of wintering shorebirds. Some of these birds are full-time residents, some are here to find better feeding grounds in a warm winter climate. Then we will visit an Eagle's nest where we can view these magnificent birds in their natural nesting season behaviors. This (3 hr) tour is available by boat ($130 per person) or driving ($110) Mid Dec. till mid March.
