Art “On the Edge” at the Arts Center
September 25, the Art Beyond Tradition group of artists is presenting its show of abstract art called, “On the Edge,” There will be an opening reception at the Arts Center from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. to which the public is invited. WALKERS HIT THE STREETS FOR 2008 WALK FOR PKD

ART GALLERIES AND CHAMBER PRESENT ART AROUND TOWN WEEKEND
The visual arts will be showcased during HHI and Bluffton’s second annual Art Around Town weekend. The two-day event is a self-guided tour featuring 21 of the Lowcountry’s galleries.
A special brochure with gallery information and a map will be available at participating galleries as well as the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center.

Ed Funk to Speak at September 17 WAHHI Luncheon
Award-winning local photographer Ed Funk will be the featured speaker when the Women’s Association of Hilton Head Island holds it annual Autumn Luncheon, Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Shipyard Plantation. The annual interest group sign-ups and social time will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by the luncheon.

Meet Pearl
Pearl is a gorgeous girl! She is a 2 year old Bulldog mix. Pearl gets along with other dogs but she does not care for cats. She is awell-socialized and very confident girl. She likes to chase balls and play with her toys. Pearl likes to take car rides and does just fine in a crate. She is good with children and loves human company.
