Now Accepting Beginning and Intermediate Students of ANY AGE.
J. Howard Duff is a local performer who has played and recorded with rock legends from Bruce Springsteen to Black Flag and has been a guitarist for forty-four years. He now plays guitar weekly with the COTC Buckwalter Praise Band.
These lessons employ a TRIED, TRUE, and FUN method developed by the teacher to get the student playing FAST. All that is required from the student is a guitar, a pick, and most of all the commitment and desire to learn. Our studio is located close to the Moss Creek light.

D. Pierce Giltner
Caption: A day with my artist husband.© Pressly Hall 2008
D. Pierce Giltner makes art on his head in this photo. As for classifying his art, he turns that on its head too. On one day, you will meet Pierce the fine artist. The next time you greet this unschooled, down-home artist on the street, he is all folk art. Whether he is making visionary art, folk art, fine art or outsider art, prepare to be surprised by his bold, raw, and emotive artistic talents.
Catch him with his family, Pearl and Pressly, selling art on Calhoun Street at the Village Art Festival on May 10, 2008. He’ll be parked beside Babbie’s “The Store”, right next to his rustic installation the “Cedar Shak Out Back.”
Also on the calendar is an Artist’s Reception and Show at Shell Hall Plantation on May 30, 2008.
