Grits That Bite Back

Serves 8

In a non-stick pan, make enough grits for 8 people using chicken broth instead of water. Add 2 cups of shredded Monterey/Jack cheese with jalapeno peppers. Stir well until cheese is melted, add 1/2 cup of crumbled crisp bacon. Serve with sauteed shrimp or pork roast and a nice cabernet.
