The Bereavement Group, New Beginnings, from Hospice Care of the
Lowcountry, is changing meeting locations starting in January, 2005. Our
Bereavement Services are available to anyone living in Beaufort or Jasper
Counties who has lost a loved one or dear friend and we encourage them to join
us.
New Beginnings, will be meeting in the parlor of Low Country
Presbyterian Church located in Bluffton, SC. The church is on Simmonsville Rd.
at the intersection of Hwy 278.
The Group meets 1st and 3rd Wednesday of
each month, from 2:30 till 4:00 pm.

The Coastal Discovery Museum will be offering training for new
Docents and desk Volunteers beginning January 19, 2005.
The new Docent
College will continue every Wednesday from 2:00 3:30 p.m. for six weeks
to cover general museum and island information. If you have an interest in
leading visitors and islanders on history walks, narrating an ecology cruise,
sharing your love of nature on a beach walk, or helping guests in the Museum
gift shop, then we need you! All it takes is several weeks of training and a
few hours each month of volunteering.

will be available on the South campus beginning Tuesday, January 11, 2005. Registrations will take place on this evening in the Yanker Room (204) in the Hargray Building starting at 5:30 pm. Registration can also take place by calling Jo Ann Kingsley at 843-521-4147. Visa, MasterCard or Discover will be accepted as well as cash or checks made out to USCB Continuing Education.
